WWF is working with leading climate scientists around the world who have agreed to join our Climate Witness Science Advisory Panel.The Science Advisory Panel aims to examine the stories of our Climate Witnesses and establish if the impacts and experiences described are consisten with current scientific knowledge of human-induced climate change.

Gail Zawacki has for 30 years admired, planted, and cared for gardens and trees from her home in rural New Jersey . She has witnessed first-hand the impact climate change is having on trees and park-land and has been photographing the recent alarming damage being done.

Apa Sherpa is a professional mountaineer from Thame, Nepal who has summited Everest 19 times. Over the last 20 years he has been witness to the impacts of climate change in the Himalayan region.
