These translations have all be thanks to the efforts of a group of volunteer translators, and the Climate Witness team is very grateful for their help.

Dutch

Karen Ramsoender
"It's been a pleasure to do these translations for the WWF Climate Witness Programme. Reading all these personal and up close accounts of the impact of global warming on the lives of everyday people all around the world has not only been educational but even disturbing at times. It has made me even more aware of the need for change. I hope that making these stories available in my own native tongue will help to make even more people aware."

German

Sriya Kulkarni
"It has been a pleasure translating the climate witness stories from English to German. Thank you for giving me this opportunity."

Hindi

Shrikant Surve
"Personally it has been a very satisfying and wonderful experience translating the CW stories; as an individual, it gives an insight to the relentless havoc created by our times and our way of living towards the nature across the globe. I should admit that this exercise has made us aware of this ever-mounting concern."

Tulika Sharma
"Translating the CW stories has made me stop and rethink almost every action that I do in my day-to-day activities. Be it the paper and pencil I use for writing, to the mode of transport I use to travel; I have now become more aware of these things and their impact on the environment."
