Andrea Fabellini lives in Chamonix Mont Blanc, France, a beautiful little town at the foot of the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe. Since moving there 10 years ago, he has witnessed a dramatic decline in snowfall and other changes in the local environment.

John Rumney, of Port Douglas, runs an adventure diving business for tourists, which provides funding for a multitude of research projects on the Great Barrier Reef. John is concerned about the impact of global warming on the reef and the effect this has on local community and businesses.

Climate Witness: Derek Newton, Australia

Derek Newton owns and operates a farm in the Traprock region west of Stanthorpe in Queensland, Australia. Since 1919, Derek's family have maintained detailed weather records and have noticed a significant change in the pattern of rainfall. He has made major changes to his farm management to cope with the drought.

Climate Witness: Stan Paynter, Australia

Stan Paynter comes from the Mallee area in Victoria. Stan and his wife Julie operate a mixed grain and beef enterprise on Currajong, situated on the Weir River north of Goondiwindi in Queensland.  Stan and his wife Julie have been farming in severe drought conditions since the early 90's.

Climate Witness: Jalaluddin Saha, India

Jalaluddin Saha was born and raised on Sagar Island, the largest and westernmost in the Sundarbans, India. Jalaluddin is a school teacher and also farms a small plot of land. Jalaluddin, along with 100 others, lost his home due to a rise in sea levels.

Simon Oleekatalik is 72 years old and lives in a town called Taloyoak, in Nunavut, the land of the Inuit in north eastern Canada. He speaks about changed weather and snow conditions in his environment.
