Climate Witness in Nepal selected as one of the Top Five Young Conservationists in the World
Dawa Steven Sherpa, a Climate Witness from Nepal, was one of five finalists for the IUCN-IRF Young Conservationist Award. Dawa Steven has also recently received awards from the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation and the International Mountaineering and Climbing Feredation for his work to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change in the Khumbu (Everest) Region of Nepal.
