Maritime security and the future of fisheries are coming under increasing threat from vessels flying flags of convenience. The award - of the status of a Supreme Companion  of O.R Tambo (Gold) recognises Chief Anyaoku’s "great contribution to the ending of apartheid and enthronement of democracy in South Africa”
