Anupam Sharma - Landscape Coordinator, North Bank Landscape

How would you describe your job?
I have worked here for more than four and half years looking at the research component to develop a better strategy for conservation and landscapes. I am looking at elephant movements and the use of forest areas and degraded areas.

What do you like?
Work is dynamic and every day is different. We all want to make a better future.

What do you dislike?
Field work is tough in some places.

How did you get involved in conservation?
I was doing a biodiversity project and when the project was planned, people contacted me to do the job in hand.

What are your hopes for the future?
I hope we can give the elephants a better environment than what we have here and now. That’s why reducing conflict and raising awareness is so important.
