HCVF Toolkit already available for Vietnam
The concept of High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF) was initially developed by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). One of the ten criterion for forest certification, HCVF refers to forests that need to be appropriately managed in order to maintain or enhance the identified High Conservation Values. Such values depend on the individual characteristics of the particular area according to the social, environmental and economic impacts it has.
