Tell us about your role in the Ujung Kulon National Park Project
As awareness staff, my job is to approach the buffer zone community and teach them how important it is to conserve the Park for their own good and the global community.

Where did you work before?
Few years in Seaworld Indonesia and with a freight company.

What did you study?
Biology.

What are the greatest frustrations you face in carrying out your work?
Dealing with a stakeholder who thinks that WWF has lots of money.

Which are the most important skills for the kind of work that you do?
Communication and basic knowing about local culture.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned so far working on this project?
Is difficult to teach the people about conservation when their standards of living are low.

What would you say are the benefits that WWF can bring to the people living near Ujung Kulon?
Get assistance on how to raise their standard of living while conserving the environment.

What are your dreams for the project in the future?
That the buffer zone community protects the Park from poaching.
