Finding ways to work the land right

To optimally utilize some of the unproductive land, in the Park’s buffer zone, an agro-forestry scheme has been introduced.

Along this scheme, local communities are encouraged to cultivate their unproductive land with commercially valuable crops and plants such as albazia, durian, rambutan, mango, sukun/bread fruit, and other commodities.
