How We Work

In large-scale projects, good cooperation between different organizations is one of the keys to success. Field Officer Purna Kunwar (left) and Program Officer Shubash Lohani (right), both of WWF Nepal Program, share views with Shiva Raj Batta, Chief Warden of Royal Chitwan National Park, working for the Department of National Parks and Wildlife in the Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation.

WWF Nepal's Strategic Plan is built on the WWF's global mission and priorities, and addresses nature conservation issues relevant to Nepal and the world.

It contains a long-term vision (20 Years), and short-term objectives (2002- 2006) that focus efforts and resources in priority areas of action that most closely reflect the capacity and mission of WWF.

WWF Nepal's programs are implemented in close-partnership with government, non-government organizations (NGOs) and community based organizations (CBOs), recognizing that effective and long-lasting conservation is possible only through working together.
