Fighting fires and managing the land

Lebanon's forests - symbolized by the cedar woodlands that are central to the country's history and mythology - are threatened by fires, overgrazing, and unregulated tourism.

In hills of Mount Lebanon, one village is tackling these problems head on - and leading the whole country in efforts to save Lebanon's natural heritage.
