Lake Pape - The project

Three main goals

Currently led by Ints Mednis, Project Director, the Lake Pape Project started in 1999. Its main goals are as follows:

• Restoring and protecting the natural processes that maintain Lake Pape's ecosystem;
  
  
• Promoting sustainable economic development in the rural areas surrounding Lake Pape;
  
  
• Raising awareness about the sustainable use of natural resources.
