Help WWF's work in Venezuela

The defence of nature is the responsiblity of all who benefit from it. You can participate in the conservation of natural resources by joining any of the programs for membership (see below) and voluntary work that FUDENA is promoting for the defense of our natural riches.
The resources obtained from the collaborations of members are used solely to insure the continuation of the projects directed by the Foundation in various regions of the country.

FUDENA at present has five methods of membership:
ADOPT AN ALLIGATOR
This program's goal is to involve the public in the conservation of endangered animals. The specimens are given in "symbolic" adoption and a name and a number is assigned for follow-up. The animals are bred in captivity during the first year of life and subsequently freed in natural protected environments. Annual investment: $50
ADOPT A SEA TURTLE
The aim of this program is the conservation of sea turtles through symbolic adoption of a turtle living in its habitat. The project is by FUDENA and it takes place at The Cuare Wildlife Refuge, which is situated in Chichiriviche, Falcon State. Annual investment: $50
ADOPT A SPECTACLE BEAR
FUDENA is protecting the Frontino Bear, an endangered species due to the indiscriminate felling of trees in its habitat, which is the Terepaima National Park near Barquisimeto in Zulia State. Annual investment: $50
FRIENDS OF NATURE
This membership was created by FUDENA for the participation of the general public in the conservation of Venezuelan national resources. Annual Investment: $30
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
This membership was designed for the student, who may also want to join FUDENA in the preservation of our bioligical riches. Annual Investment: $2
