This task group will ideally produce a catalogue of climate change awareness tools that are currently in use by WWF, other conservation NGO’s and any other organisations with climate change interests. These tools could include media projects, teaching kits, television campaigns, advertisements, photos, movies, podcasts and more.

For example, WWF currently runs and supports a program called “Climate Witness” where local people tell their stories of changing climate. The searchable database of all climate change awareness tools would be hosted on the ACT initiative website with the ability for interested visitors to i) search for climate change awareness projects and tools in their area and ii) suggest and even upload new tools.

This group will also provide a weight of support that can be used in advocacy work and for designing novel awareness and adaptation strategies. The outputs should all be transparent, hosted online at the ACT initiative site and made available through regular mailings to interested parties.
