Partners in the Valdivian Ecoregion
The Valdivian Ecoregion Program advocates the conservation and sustainable use of Chile's native forests. To meet this challenge, we work in conjunction with governmental, non-governmental, and grassroots organizations.
An example of such an alliance is that established with CODEFF, with whom we coordinate the Temperate Rainforest Fund initiative (Fondo Bosque Templado).
Partners and alliances with:
- Commitee for the Defense of Fauna and Flora (Comité Pro Defensa de la Fauna y Flora - CODEFF)
- Enviromental Research and Planning Center (Centro de Investigación y Planificación del Medio Ambiente - CIPMA)
- Coastal Range Coalition (Coalición por la Conservación de la Cordillera de la Costa - CCCC)
- Parks for Chile (Parques para Chile)
- National Forestry Coorporation (Corporación Nacional Forestal - CONAF)
- National Commission for the Environment (Comisión Nacional para el Medio Ambiente - CONAMA)
