How quickly will I get my order?
Immediately! You can download the personalized certificate the minute your order is processed.
At the same time an email should be delivered to your inbox with a link to a page where you can download a PDF version of the certificate.
It will have the name of the gift you bought as well as some information about where the money will go, as well as both of your names, which makes it more personal. They could even frame it, if they wanted.
How do I place an order?
At
www.panda.org/gifts you can choose any of the nine gifts. Click “buy now!” once you’ve selected which gift you’d like to buy.
What if I want more than one gift?
You can buy the same gift as many as 10 times during a single transaction.
For instance, you can
Send Two Turtles to Rehab – one for your dad and one for your best friend during the same transaction. Simply click on ‘add another recipient’ while you’re filling out the form.
If, however, you would like to Invest in a Gorilla’s Paradise for your sister, and Put a Cork in it! Plant a Tree for your brother and your uncle, you will need to first process the gift of Invest in a Gorilla’s Paradise, and then go through and make a separate payment in order to process the Cork gifts.
You mean I can’t buy two different types of Gifts for a Living Planet during the same purchase?
Unfortunately at this point, because it was very important for us to ensure your money was going to buy the gift you’ve chosen, we must process different gift types in different transactions.
We know it’s not ideal, but as this is the first time WWF has offered Gifts for a Living Planet, we do not have the necessary functionality in place to handle a ‘shopping cart’ style of gifts. This was the best way to offer unique and interesting gifts and keep the administration costs down.
You can, however add an additional contribution that will be directed to some of WWF’s projects that need it most. If you would like to, enter the amount you would like to donate when you come to the field that asks “My extra contribution is”.
You will then be asked to complete the name and email of the recipient, as well as your own personal details, as you would like them to appear on the certificate (click here to see a sample certificate<Your Name Their Name>).
Once you have verified that the information will appear on each certificate as you would like it to, you can click on the button that says, “Please proceed to order confirmation”.
Next you will be transferred to WorldPay’s secure pages to process your payment. Verify that the amount of your gift is correct and choose which credit card you will be using to pay for the gift.
Here is where you enter your credit card information. The gift-giver’s details should be automatically transferred to this payment page.
If the credit card holder’s details are different from the person’s name on the certificate, don’t forget to make that change!
Submit your payment and wait for the confirmation of the order. At this stage you can click on the link that will take you to a page where a link to your personalized PDF version certificate(s) can be downloaded from.
Save your certificates to your computer so that you can print or email them to your friend!
What if I lost the certificate?
Don’t worry if you lose the certificate. You’ll have a thank you email waiting for you in your inbox with a link to the page where you can download your personalized certificates again.
How do I know if my order has gone through?
A printable Confirmation Page should appear once your order has gone through, detailing your order.
You should also receive two immediate email confirmations (as long as you entered your email address correctly!).
The first email will be from WorldPlay and will confirm your credit card transaction.
The second message will be a thank you email from WWF. This email also has a link to the page where you can download your personalized certificate(s).
If you opted to receive WWF International’s electronic newsletter, you will be sent a third email asking you to confirm your email address and your desire to receive communications from WWF.
And then WWF staff will make your gift happen. A polar bear really will get a tattoo because of your gift, and WWF really will be rehabilitating and re-releasing turtles into the ocean.
What should I do if I get an error message?
If you receive an error message to say that your order has not been placed, then please try again, checking first to see whether you have received an email confirmation, which will mean that your order has gone through.

Will WWF contact me or the people I buy gifts for if I buy a Gift for a Living Planet?
We will never contact the person you gave a gift to, unless they have already chosen to opt in to some of our online communications independent of this gift.
We’d really like to share with you how much impact your gift is having, as well as keep you informed about WWF’s other projects and activities around the world, which is why we ask you to opt in to receive news and updates when you are ordering your gift.
If, however, you do not wish to hear from us in the future, simply ensure to remove the checkmark from the box next to “Yes, I would like news and updates about these gifts and other WWF projects. ”
Your privacy is important to us. WWF will never share your name with any other organization.
