The Volunteer Application Form

Things you should know...

WWF recruits volunteers aged 20 to 27, mainly for work in Madagascar but also in a few other countries where only English is required (e.g. India, South Pacific). For Madagascar placements, it is essential that you are able to speak and understand  French to an acceptable level. Even if you only have English, please fill in the form so we can take your application into consideration when appropriate places become available. For example, this year we have volunteers going to WWF-India and WWF South Pacific (check out www.wwfindia.org for more info on WWF-India's activities).

As you will see, the recruitment for the 3rd Madagascar placement has now been finalized. Your application will therefore be taken into consideration for the 1st 2009 placement! Watch this space for exact dates & project sites...

Dates for 2008 Madagascar placements:
  • 25 February to 8 May
Project: Successful Community from Ridge to Reef, Fort Dauphin, Toliara
  • 22 May to 22 August
Project: Management of Vondrozo Forest Corridor, Fianarantsoa
  • 15 September to 15 December
Project: Management of Midongy Forest Corridor, Fianarantsoa
    Recruitment finalized

...and a bit of advice

Don't drive yourself insane by trying to fill in this form on-line straight-off.

Our advice would be to print it off, construct your answers in a word processor, then copy & paste them into this form. (It also means you have a back-up copy.)

Could save you from being in a whole world of pain :-)

Alternatively you can fax it to WWF on +41 22 364 4892
