The Market Transformation Initiative’s (MTI) strategy is to mobilize key companies and actors in commodity supply chains to reduce the most important production impacts and to change related demand. The key companies that control global supply chains include processing companies, com-modity traders, manufacturers and retailers and banks, many of whom are global companies or brands. By working with them to show that commodities can be produced at affordable costs with measurably reduced environmental impacts, and by creating a significant demand for such products, markets can be “tipped” and large-scale, positive environmental outcomes delivered. &lt;br /&gt;

The MTI’s work potentially touches all WWF offices. The NI is hosted by WWF Netherlands. The MTI team is a virtual team, working from different offices, including the UK, US and WWF-International.&lt;br /&gt;

The fundraising manager is a part time (60%) member of the MTI core team. S/he is responsible for developing and implementing MTI’s fundraising activities in close cooperation with the MTI team and the entire WWF network.&lt;br /&gt;

    &lt;li&gt;Actively liaise on a regular basis with WWF’s Government Aid Agency team (GAA) in devel-oping funding proposals in response to calls for proposals and be alert to other fundraising op-portunities from GAA’s;&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Develop/undertake training activities to build fundraising skills and capacity in donor relation-ship building on MTI issues, and submission of proposals.&lt;/li&gt;

    &lt;li&gt;Manages the Conservation Division staff of WWF International and is responsible for the application of WWF resources (human and financial) within programme units to efficiently and effectively support major Network initiatives and the Network’s global conservation priorities.&lt;/li&gt;

    &lt;li&gt;Proven ability to build and unite teams of highly-motivated and well-qualified staff and to unite diverse, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams of people to achieve common outcomes&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Excellent diplomatic and communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals (government representatives, donors, public figures, staff), within diverse cultural environments&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;A strong team player capable of working effectively in a rapidly evolving environment. S/he must be comfortable with change and leading change within an organisational framework&lt;/li&gt;
