Participants who complete the full Programme can opt to work towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Development from Exeter University in the UK. This option will achieve 60 credits – one third of a Masters degree which can be completed through distance learning.
This pathway has been specifically developed by the School of Geography, Archaeology & Earth Resources and the Centre for Leadership Studies in close association with WWF and is based on the aims and objectives of One Planet Leaders.
Your time commitment to the first module (Professional Practice: Managing and Creating Knowledge) is in the region of 600 hours, although much of this time includes the work you will have already done on WWF’s One Planet Leaders Programme and the work in your company. Online and blended learning enables this to occur in a very flexible manner.
You receive credit for how you use and develop your learning from the One Planet Leaders programme. This will be incorporated in three assignments on 'Managing and Creating Knowledge'. The tutor will advise delegates on how to best approach this process.
You will then have the option to receive your Postgraduate Certificate or continue on for a Diploma and/or Masters in Sustainable Development.
