Terms and conditions

Full residential participation is required for each workshop. Places can only be guaranteed with a purchase order number or credit card details. Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. Cancellations are non-refundable, but places may be deferred to alternative One Planet Leaders workshops at the discretion of WWF and subject to availability.

Learning approach

At One Planet Leaders we put debate and experience at the very heart of what we do. We create a supportive learning environment where participants can unlock existing thinking, create fresh ideas and stretch organisational ambition.

We explore the roles of both incremental and transformational change with the emphasis on action-focused learning, practical solutions and empowering you to create sustainable businesses.

Full Programme or Modular Access

Participants can choose to attend the Full Programme or select relevant workshops based on personal needs and availability. It is possible to spread the learning across a business team and send different team members to different workshops. Remote tutor support is only available for those who attend all three workshops.

Full Programme participants experience a 6-month learning journey. It starts with objective setting and access to materials, and is followed by a 3-month period of in-depth engagement including: 3 workshops, tutor support, online sustainability management tools and a web-based learning community. Participants then enter a 100-day implementation phase which offers continued access to materials and expertise to help activate the plans in the workplace. At the end of this period participants join the One Planet Leaders Alumni Community.

Modular Participants experience the chosen workshop(s) and 100-day access to online materials before joining the Community.

Workshop Content

Workshop I: Business Dependencies

A full introduction to the challenge of sustainability. We explore the impacts of environmental and social trends on business and how to turn these into strategic opportunities. We develop innovative responses that fit your particular organisation.

Workshop II: Business Transformation

We explore new ideas, concepts, business models and tools – both for ground breaking transformation and incremental action. We develop strategic responses to create business value and build lasting competitive advantage.

Workshop III: Business Change

We explore how to champion change across your organisation and the value chain. We investigate the human dimension, levers and obstacles to change, and how to communicate sustainability credentials effectively.
