WWF is increasingly working with large corporations that are important, worldwide buyers, traders and processors of priority commodities that impact WWF´s priority places for biodiversity protection.
Such corporate partnerships are designed to improve the sustainability of a specific supply chain, for example, in terms of its water and carbon footprint. They also ensure to improve the way commodities are sourced. Company Partnerships often start with action on one commodity, and generally further expand to other commodities or business areas.
Some examples of WWF Partnerships with global companies are The Coca Cola Company, IKEA, IBM, Marks & Spencer, Sony and HSBC.
