Our Solutions

WWF Macroeconomics for Sustainable Development Programme works in the following areas:

  • Poverty and the Environment, including economic change, poverty reduction, natural resource management and providing strategy papers for development assistance.
     
  • Trade and the Environment, including rural poverty issues and helping stakeholders in 6 countries (Cambodia, Laos, Zambia, Malawi, Brazil, Kenya, and Vietnam) to address environmental and social implications of agricultural change.
     
  • Payments for Ecosystem Services
     
  • Investment and Development, including work on Extractive Industries and Infrastructure.
     
  • Root Causes, including MPO's past work on an Analytical Approach and a guide for Analysis to Action
