After the nomination of sites, Natura 2000 moves on to the implementation phase. Member states are now confronted with new tasks and challenges. Several examples on how to deal with these new challenges can already be found within the member states.

The aim of the conference is to support the flow of information and continue the network-building work concerning the different ways of implementing Natura 2000.
