A challenging journey
The Climate Change College is in its third year, and after months of preparation, this year’s ambassadors went to Alaska to gather first hand information about arctic climate change.
Students from eight countries participated in this joint project from Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream, WWF and Dutch polar explorer/environmentalist Marc Cornelissen.Program outline
In April 2008, College ambassadors travelled to Alaska to witness the effects of climate change, the immense beauty of the region and learn from specialists about the different aspects of climate change.
