Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed its commitment to become member of EU family. The Living Neretva project began in October 2006. It will support the governments of both entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska) to manage the natural resources of the transboundary Neretva river basin according to the founding EU Habitat and Water Framework Directives’ principles and criteria.
