WWF International
the income of WWF international grew by 6% to ChF 175 million in 2008 as a result of additional support from trusts, foundations, governments and aid agencies. this increased funds available for conservation work.

WWF Network
WWF network income in 2008 declined by € 61 million to € 447 million, a decrease of 12% compared to 2007.

Although revenue grew in every fundraising sector, this was offset by a 70% drop in earned income, reflecting substantial losses in the market value of invested reserves as a result of the financial crisis.

The network’s operating surplus was €17 million in 2008, down from € 96 million the previous year, reflecting an increase in conservation spending despite the economic downturn. This surplus will be used to fund ongoing projects and programmes to help achieve conservation targets.
