The main achievement during the period of January 01 to June 30, 2008 has been the maintenance of the low levels of illegal nest-collecting established by the project, for all three sea turtle species, specially for the Baula turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) for which looted nest decreased down to 0%. For the Lora turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea), this rate was also kept low, being reported only a 6.2% of looted nests.
