Our Activities in Singapore

Singapore represents one of the strongest Asian economies whose regional role is of high importance. It serves as a regional hub for many businesses and industries. WWF is active in conservation programmes in over 22 countries in the Asia Pacific region. By forging partnerships with companies and investors located in Singapore and working together with the government, other NGOs and the Singapore community, WWF in Singapore is working to deliver positive and lasting change in the Asia Pacific region.

Business solutions for the environment: we form progressive partnerships with business and industry to jointly identify solutions for environmental issues and conservation programmes in Asia Pacific and advance the dialogue on environmentally sound business practices.

Sustainable development outreach: we team up with business and industry to engage, dialogue and raise awareness among their staff, customers and other stakeholder on the environment. We share lessons and experience from our conservation programmes across Asia Pacific.

Awareness and Education: In addition to supporting WWF programmes across the Asia Pacific region, WWF Singapore’s awareness and outreach programmes educate and stimulate the public on conservation issues. We believe that conservation begins with understanding. Through our outreach programmes, we hope that a variety of conservation issues can be drawn to the attention of Singaporeans from all walks of life, and positive steps taken to protect the environment and safeguard the world’s biological diversity.
