Summary
The WWF Wood Group is a plattform for committed companies (FSC certified), who want to communicate their ecological engagement together with WWF. They commit to a stepwise approach towards certification and to transparent product declaration of wood species, wood origin and place of production.
The WWF Wood Group is part of the Global Forest Trade Network (GFTN).
Objectives
1) Sell CHF 200 Million of FSC products by 2009.
2) Promote FSC on a technical, marketing and communication level with the aim to establish FSC on the market. FSC unprompted awarness by 2009: 80%.
