Helicopter Crash, Nepal 2006

On the 23rd September 2006 tragedy struck when a helicopter carrying several dignitaries, crew and WWF staff crashed in the high mountains of Nepal during bad weather.

The deaths amounted to the biggest single loss of life in WWF’s history.
